Endeavor Schools has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Onboarding and Training! This position can be based anywhere in the US but must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. This position is a key role within our Welcome Team (Acquisitions), working with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of school operations as new schools are onboarded. The Director of Onboarding and Training will onboard and train key leaders new to the Endeavor network of schools to ensure a strong foundation from which to meet school and individual performance expectations. The scope of this role will encompass leaders from newly acquired schools as well as recently hired leaders from previously acquired schools. The selected candidate must be adept at cultivating a customer service focused organizational culture and possess a track record for developing and delivering training across an array of functional areas, from Academics to Leadership Development to Support Services.

Essential Tasks
  • Partner with Endeavor Support Team department leads (SMEs) to establish onboarding and ongoing training objectives and compile training content; organize and optimize delivery of training in both live and asynchronous, self-service formats.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development leaders to enhance and drive adoption of our Learning Management System and maximize training outcomes among School Leadership and educators.
  • Create a positive experience grounded in Endeavor's culture and core values of RESPECT for team members new to the Endeavor network of schools.
  • Partner with Operations and Academics to manage the onboarding of School Leadership with a focus on balancing business tasks and objectives with classroom support and relationship building responsibilities.
  • Nurture dynamic teaching and learning environments that promote retention of students, families, and educators.


Experience and EducationEducation and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field or professional certification or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in Education sector, including significant leadership and change management experience.
  • 5+ years' teaching adult learners.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Background utilizing and supporting information systems used in school settings.
  • Exemplary communication skills and ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with an array of stakeholders.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and thrives in uncertain situations.
