CDL Bus Driver

Responsibilities
The primary objectives of the Bus Driver are to ensure safety and well-being of children at all times, transport children as assigned, and drive and operate bus. The Substitute Bus Driver will work at will, as needed, and report to the Operations Director.
  • Safely transport children
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus
  • Perform inspections of bus before and after each route and report all maintenance issues to leadership
  • Create a positive environment for children


Experience and Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Class B CDL and Passenger Endorsement.
  • 45 hours DCF training.
  • 2+ years' experience working with children.
  • Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
